Product Description
European Larch (Larix decidua) is the densest and most durable of the commercial European softwoods — roughly 30% stronger in bending than redwood and 40% harder, with a resinous, reddish-brown heartwood that resists rot without chemical treatment. Excluding sapwood, larch cladding is routinely specified for a 30-year untreated service life, which makes it the go-to species for exterior work where a treated pine will not be accepted.
